Corinne Mercadier produces photographic stagings linked to a poetic perception of the place of the human being in space. She is as interested in dance as in architecture and interstellar spaces. To carry out these stagings, previously drawn in sketchbooks, she uses models, dancers, actors. She makes the costumes, and the sculptures intended to be launched during the shots.
Corinne Mercadier has worked with a Leica analogic camera and Polaroid SX70 film until 2008, then turned to digital.
She has exhibited regularly at the Gallery Les filles du calvaire, Paris.
