Each of the Small Ephemeral Drawings plunges into an ink background to bring to its surface a fragment of a scene previously photographed. They are contemporaries of the Landscapes series (1992 - 1994) : photographs taken over the days and journeys, rephotographed in the studio with the Polaroid SX70.
